Villa Luna2 is architecturally modernist, inspired by works
from the late 50s/ early 60s, with the interiors reflecting
the best from this period, yet are entirely 21st century. The
interiors have been custom-designed by the owner and combined
with European modern classics throughout. All is intended to
appeal to the creative senses of our guests, whilst providing
the comfort and relaxed atmosphere that our world-travellers
will expect.
Situated beachfront, in
the heart of the Chelsea of Bali, and with leading edge modern
design, it is the first of its kind in Bali to offer the
exclusivity of a 5-star boutique hotel, whilst maintaining the
privacy of a private home. Owner always intended that wining &
dining would become an inherent part of the guest s luna2
experience. To this end, it is incredibly staffed with 2
internationally acclaimed chefs, as well as a professional
butler, barman, waiters, drivers, and a baby-sitter, to name
but a few. All of whom are trained to be discreet, yet
attentive - to cater to the whims of luna2’s well-traveled
executives and design-junkies alike.
The 5-bedroom home can be rented entirely,
but equally serves as an incredible venue for personalized
events, with expansive well-groomed lawns and terraces, which
provide the ultimate in outdoor chill & lounge ‘zones’.
Additionally, all interior space, being fully air-conditioned
throughout, is a superb alternative to the usual alfresco
option - indeed a rare concept in Bali. Luna2 particularly
delights in throwing cocktail parties for up to 100 guests. It
may even become better known for its intimate dining evenings
at the chef s table, with its uninterrupted views of the
ocean. It s quite frankly breath-taking, with the breeze, the
sunset and the obligatory ’lunatini’ in hand, along with
Executive Chef Danny Drinkwater’s sensational canapés, and
‘lunafood’, it is sure to challenge Bali’s finest dining
establishments.
Location
Luna2 is an ultra-modern 5-bedroom house, which operates as a
5-star boutique hotel. We are located in Seminyak, on the
beach between the Sofitel and the Oberoi hotels, and are a
just a short walk away from neighboring bars and restaurants.
We are 15 minutes drive from the airport.
Staff
Our complement of 23 staff will cater to your needs throughout
your stay. At the helm, and directing Luna2 food & beverage,
is Executive Chef from the UK, previously the Executive Chef
at the Park Hyatt in Sydney, assisted by 2 Australian chefs;
additionally, there is a barman on hand, a butler, several
house maids, gardeners, drivers, and a professional team of
security staff. We are equipped to cater to small groups, but
can just as easily handle special events for up to 100 people.
Food & Beverage
Our approach to lunafood is three-fold: imagination, produce
and presentation. We offer a unique dining experience from
service delivery, wine-pairing and of course innovative
cuisine. The result being that our food entirely reflects the
philosophy of luna2’s approach to design. luna2 has two
kitchens devoted to preparation and service, Yellow kitchen
and the Commercial kitchen fully equipped Combi ovens, wok
burners and other chef toys.
Breakfast (6.30am onwards)
Served in the Yellow kitchen a delightful selection of breads,
cereals, fruits, fresh-squeezed juices, coffee & tea, with a
choice of a la carte dishes prepared daily by our chefs. Our
house-cured smoked salmon & organic eggs Florentine have
proven hard to beat!
All day dining (11am to 6pm)
Available throughout the day and consists of fresh, seasonal
comfort food, with designer sandwiches, salads & more
substantial dishes. These can be served to your room, poolside
or wherever you prefer.
Dinner (7/ 7.30pm)
Complimentary canapés will be served each evening at 6pm.
Perfect for sunset cocktails! Our 3-course dinner menu is
changed daily. We offer a choice of 2 starters, main courses
and desserts daily. Kindly let the chef know if you will be in
for dinner, ideally before 2pm the same day.
Children’s Menus
All the usual favorites are available for breakfast, lunch &
dinner; with or without fruit and vegetables, together with
desserts and treats according to parents’ request!
Children can eat separately from parents on the terrace, if
required. Please let us know your preference each day.
Lunabar
Drinks are of course available throughout the day and into the
night. Our barman will be on hand from 12 noon each day to
custom-mix any cocktails you require. We highly recommend the
obligatory ‘lunatini’ to get you started!
Transport
Airport transport will be provided free of charge. Daily
transport can be arranged along with driver for your
convenience and charged accordingly.
Activities & tours
Please inform us of any trips you would like to make, and we
will be happy to make the arrangements for you. Alternatively,
our GM or butler will be pleased to advise you of the options.
Kids’ activities
For the children, we have dedicated staff who will cater to
their needs, by way of providing daily activities such as
cookery classes, soccer on the beach, horse-riding, taekwondo
sessions, and art classes, all detailed in your welcome folder
on arrival. Additionally, we have an extensive range of
computer games, videos and toys in the TV room to further
impress them!
Spa & salon treatments
In-house spa treatments can be arranged with 24-hour prior
notice.
These include a variety of massages, facials, reflexology,
body scrubs, pedicures & manicures etc. We also provide an
in-house salon treatment at short notice, which includes
blow-dries, haircuts, high-lighting and tinting.
Technical
We provided wireless internet throughout, a Bose sound system
in the living areas and garden, with Bose sound docks, iPods
and flat-screen TV’s in each of the bedrooms, study and TV
rooms. All rooms are equipped with the Dynalite lighting
system, and many have electric curtains.
Telephone & internet
Telephone use will be charged at standard rate plus 11% tax. Broadband wireless internet will be provided
free of charge.
Laundry
In-house laundry service is provided and is charged separately
to your account.
